The aim of this project is to create a prototype of an interactive multimedia platform that can display the relationships between the various forms of textuality of a musical work. This hypertext is based on an emblematic case study, Luciano Berio's “Gesti”, and aims to provide a flexible and user-friendly tool for teaching and research both in musicology and performance practice.

The project staff includes Angela Ida De Benedictis (musicologist, project conception and direction, Paul Sacher Stiftung and Centro Studi Luciano Berio), Adriano Baratè (software developer, University of Milan), Luca A. Ludovico (software developer, University of Milan), Giovanni Cestino (musicologist, University of Milan), and Claudia Vincis (musicologist, Centro Studi Luciano Berio).
